Electric Thermal Fluid Heaters
An electric thermal fluid heater or electric process heater is a vital part of many manufacturing processes including reactor heating, cooking/frying, turbine air preheating, liquid and gas reheating and many other processes. Using electricity to heat thermal fluid has become very popular and Thermal Process can provide an electric heater to heat thermal oil, glycol or hot water to support your process. A thermal fluid heater is sometimes called a hot oil heater or hot oil boiler. Thermal Process electric heaters can heat thermal oils and thermal fluids for high temperature applications up to 750 F while remaining in liquid forms. Also, the Thermal Process electric heaters are used to heat glycol and hot water for heat tracing of piping, tanks and other low temperature applications. Using thermal fluid for process heating has many benefits including being able to heat the fluid to high temperatures, while staying at low pressures. The electric heaters from Thermal Process are available in heating outputs from 7.5 KW to 3 MW. Electric heaters can be designed and fabricated to multiple voltages, including 120V, 220V, 480V, 575V and even medium voltages of 4160V and at different frequencies 50Hz or 60Hz as examples. Complete thermal fluid and glycol heating skids are also available including thermal fluid expansion tanks, thermal fluid specific pumps and custom controls. Controls can be as simple as local only control with buttons and switches to more complex designed systems with PLC's, HMI's and remote control and interface capability. Thermal Fluid Heaters
